Our names are Rich and Denise Miller. We were born and raised in the beautiful Hudson Valley. 
In 1997 we purchased this property of approximately 13 acres of cedar forest from Rich's relatives. 
We spent the next several years clearing the areas that are now our home and nursery 
surrounded by the tranquil cedar forest.

Cedar Ridge Nursery opened with one greenhouse and beautiful grounds for the display of shrubs and trees in May 2005. By August 2006, a second greenhouse (twice as long as the original) was under construction. Cedar Ridge Nursery easily fills both greenhouses because there are so many wonderful plants and varieties to grow.  Our nursery has a great selection of vegetable seedlings, annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, & ornamental shrubs. 

Cedar Ridge Nursery is Registered and Certified as a Plant Grower by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

Proven Winners® Certified Garden Center
The purpose of the Certified Garden Center program is to give garden center owners and employees up to date information so they can assist consumers in choosing and growing Proven Winners plants. Training involves distribution of information to introduce and review existing products insuring that employees have up to date knowledge.

Proven Winners is an international marketing cooperative comprised of some of the world's best propagators. As a group, they are dedicated to developing new hybrid color varieties that will perform well for both the grower and consumer.   

We are a member of the New York Farm Bureau. The Farm Bureau is a non-governmental, volunteer organization financed and controlled by member families for the purpose of solving economic and public policy issues challenging the agricultural industry. The mission of the New York Farm Bureau is to serve and strengthen agriculture.  www.nyfb.org

     The Market Hours are:
     Saturdays 9 am - 2 pm
     June through October 
In the Spring, Cedar Ridge Nursery offers hanging baskets, bedding plants, perennials and shrubs.
During the Fall, we offer mums, ornamental cabbage, perennials and shrubs.
